Gateway Head Start strives to cultivate the minds and bodies of Head Start children by providing comprehensive services of health, nutrition, education, social service, and parent involvement, in a safe learning environment that fosters positive self-esteem, self-respect, and dignity, along with social competence.

The Hamilton I Head Start Center is in operation 5 days a week, 10 months a year and operates as a full day program from 9:00AM to 3:00PM.

The center is staffed by an Early Childhood Certified Head Teacher. Each classroom is staffed with a teacher (either certified or a CDA Group Teacher) and a Teacher’s Assistant.
